Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: None.
• LICENSES REGISTRATIONS &/or CERTIFICATIONS: BLS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Keeps OR clean and clutter-free; ensures supplies and equipment are available and acceptable.
• Carries out cleaning, care, and placement of essential equipment for cases (arthroscopy pump, fluoroscopy beds, video equipment, overhead tables).
• Maintains order in cleaning utility areas, stock checks, and supply replenishment.
• Transports specimens per RN direction; assists with positioning and moving patients per RN instructions.
• Notifies RN and team of observations; communicates needs across departments.
• Supports with sterile prep under RN direction and assists with gowning.
