Job summary

Aspirus St. Luke's in Duluth, MN is seeking a Surgical Services Assistant to join our Operating Rooms team. This part-time, 0.8 FTE role supports sterile processing, patient transport and room turnover under the direction of a registered nurse, helping keep the OR ready for procedures.

The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and walking for long shifts, and attention to safety. Preference given to candidates with experience in surgical or procedural cleaning and at least an 11th

Qualifications

• Must have at least 11th grade reading level.
• Experience in surgical or procedural services cleaning.
• Ability to read, write and understand basic instructions and reports.

Responsibilities

• Keep assigned areas clean, sanitary and aseptic.
• Assist with efficient turnover of operating rooms.
• Assist with patient transport and positioning under RN direction.
• Assist with supply management as assigned.
