Job summary

Detroit Medical Center (DMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Patient Care Services Team in Commerce Township, Michigan. The RN will lead nursing activities for a group of patients, collaborate with physicians and care teams, and supervise staff to ensure high-quality care across shifts.

The RN will manage and coordinate patient care, assess needs, and participate in discharge planning while maintaining a focus on safety, communication, and continuous improvement at DMC Huron

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing is required.
• RN licensure in Michigan is required.
• AHA BLS certification is required.
• BSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers.
• Delegates, assesses, provides and evaluates patient care.
• Provides and delegates patient care activities to team members.
• Monitors patient progress and prepares patients for discharge.
• Reports to senior unit management and participates in shared decision making.
