Job summary

Duly Health Lombard in Lombard, IL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the operating room. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive perioperative care across preop, intraop, and postop stages.

Team collaboration and precise documentation are essential to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Requirements include an accredited nursing degree, active RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and a minimum of six months OR experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Minimum six months in the OR; scrub and circulate experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process in preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases.
• Verbally report pertinent information to staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Legibly document information in the patient record and sign with professional title.
• Assess patient/family understanding and establish mutually agreed care goals.
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain patient safety.
