Job summary

Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an experienced OR nurse to ensure safe patient care across the surgical team. You will apply the nursing process from assessment through evaluation, coordinate care, and support evidence-based practices in a fast-paced operating room.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold Florida licensure, have at least two years of OR experience, and maintain BLS (ACLS where required).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of current Operating Room experience; competency assessment required.
• Florida RN license required; BLS and ACLS per department.
• Additional departmental requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care across the OR team and other disciplines.
• Apply evidence-based nursing practices and maintain patient safety.
• Provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care.
