Job summary

Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. You will provide safe patient care in a high-volume OR with 14 fully equipped rooms and collaborate with a skilled team to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role requires a nursing license in Florida, 2+ years OR experience, BLS (ACLS where required), and strong communication. Relocation incentive and housing allowance are offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required.
• Must have at least 2 years of current Operating Room experience.
• Currently licensed in the State of Florida.
• BLS certification; ACLS where required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe delivery and documentation of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Perform responsibilities in five areas of nursing practice utilizing critical thinking, management, problem solving and differentiation of urgency.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

Associates or Bachelors preferred
