Job summary

Black Women's Mental Health Institute is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Pediatrics for a per diem OR role in a pediatric acute care setting. You will provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room, perform assessments, and support patient safety during procedures.

Requirements include an Ohio RN license, BSN or in progress, current BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years OR experience in pediatrics.
• Ohio RN license required.
• BSN or in progress.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications, plus American Heart Association certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room.
• Perform assessments and implement interventions to ensure patient safety during surgery.
• Assist physicians with care plans and procedural steps.
• Maintain continuity between the OR and patient care units.

Job description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Pediatrics for a per diem (PRN) OR role in a pediatric acute care hospital.

Responsibilities include:

providing nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room, performing assessments, implementing interventions to ensure patient safety during surgery, assisting physicians with care plans, and maintaining continuity between the OR and patient care units.

Requirements:

minimum of 2 years OR experience in pediatrics, Ohio RN license, BSN or in progress, current BLS and ACLS certifications, American Heart Association certification, and ability to pass background checks.

Preferred qualifications include:

CNOR certification and experience in pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery, or laser procedures.
