Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room in Cincinnati, OH. The role focuses on perioperative care, working within a multidisciplinary team to support patient-centered outcomes.

Ideal candidates have OR nursing experience, current RN licensure, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS where pediatric care is involved. Perioperative nursing certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
