Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS certification.
• Minimum one year of RN experience in surgical services preferred.
• ADN required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to adult and pediatric surgical patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care throughout the surgical experience.
• Serve as a patient advocate while promoting safety and quality.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes during perioperative care.
• Support a variety of surgical specialties within a fast-paced operating room environment.
• Adhere to infection prevention standards and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement and patient experiences.
