Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an experienced registered nurse for intraoperative perioperative care in our surgical department. The role requires at least 1 year of recent intraoperative RN experience in an acute care hospital, and on-call availability within 30 minutes.

Candidates must hold an Ohio RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN is required after 5 years of employment. The position involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for patients in a dynamic team setting.

Qualifications

• BLS—American Heart Association certification required.
• RN license from Ohio or multi-state compact state.
• At least 1 year intraoperative RN experience in acute care.
• On-call shifts required; be available within 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and plan patient care as applicable (30%).
• Document planned nursing interventions for outcomes (30%).
• Implement and evaluate care with multidisciplinary team (20%).
• Lead process improvements for quality and safety (10%).
• Handle operations in the surgical department (10%).
