Job summary

Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon, OH is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team. This is a full-time, first-shift position with a bi-weekly commitment of 72 hours.

The role requires participation in on-call rotation, and team members must be able to respond and arrive at the facility within 30 minutes when on call. You will deliver patient care using the nursing process, guide other OR staff, and adapt to scheduling needs while serving a diverse patient

Qualifications

• Hold current RN licensure from the State of Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Preference will be given to candidates with previous surgical experience.
• Ability to provide specialized nursing care using knowledge from biological, physical, behavioral, and social sciences.
• Maintain competency through a minimum of 24 Continuing Education Credit (CNE) hours every two years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process while adhering to professional nursing standards and FCHC policies.
• Direct and guide the activities of other nursing personnel in the Operating Room.
• Adjust to staffing changes and patient care needs as required.
• Serve a diverse patient population across all ages including infants to geriatrics.
