Incredible Health Hospitals in the Washington, DC area are actively hiring an Operating Room/Surgical Nurse (RN). The role requires a valid RN license, ADN or higher nursing degree, and 1+ years of OR or surgical experience.

ACLS/PALS preferred; strong critical thinking and teamwork are essential. Responsibilities include direct patient care before, during, and after surgery, maintaining aseptic conditions, intra-operative nursing tasks, and communicating care plans with patients and families.

Qualificações

• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ years of OR/surgical experience preferred.
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards.
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room.
• Assist in intra-operative patient care by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and families about the procedure and postoperative care.
