Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Alaska.
• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to work day shifts and adapt to unit needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care following the nursing process.
• Coordinate with physicians and care teams to implement care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions and education accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to infection prevention and safety protocols.
