Job summary

Carilion New River Valley Medical Center is hiring an RN for the Operating Room. The role provides professional nursing care across all ages, collaborating with the health care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, document in the EMR, and coordinate care delivery with interdisciplinary teams. Requirements include graduation from a state-approved nursing program and Virginia RN licensure or eligibility, with AHA BLS-HCP.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved program.
• Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• AHA BLS-HCP required.
• ACL S, PALS, or NRP may be required based on area.
• Keyboarding skills and computer literacy including use of electronic medical records.
