Mission Hospital in Asheville is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to support the OR team at the Asheville Surgery Center. You will lead nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, while supervising and documenting care for patients and families.

The role requires 1+ year OR experience, an Associate's degree in Nursing, NC RN licensure (eNLC may apply), and BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of OR RN experience
• Must have and maintain current RN licensure in North Carolina; eNLC license may apply
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to facilitate delivery of professional nursing care
• Uses the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Dels egate, supervise and document care and teaching to patients and family
• Implements medically prescribed interventions
