Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Registered Nurse II to provide professional patient care and assume accountability for a group of patients for a designated time. The RN II will use nursing process, perform assessments, care planning, and coordinate with the health care team.

Responsibilities include data collection, implementing care, prioritizing patient needs, educating patients and families, ensuring safety, and participating in staff development and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• One year recent RN experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Graduate of an accredited RN program with BRN hours requirement.
• Hold California RN license and Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs ongoing patient assessments and data collection.
• Formulates a goal-directed plan of care and prioritizes needs.
• Implements care in a thorough, continuous manner and coordinates with team.
