Job summary

SnapCare is seeking an RN for multiple shifts at a Corpus Christi hospital. This full-time opportunity involves delivering comprehensive nursing care, utilizing the nursing process, and addressing diverse patient needs in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS certification required (AHA only).
• RN License in state TX or compact required.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care independently in a clinical setting.
• Utilize the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols and monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed.
