Job summary

UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. This 100% FTE position offers 10-hour day/evening shifts with on-call requirements, and is based at East Madison Hospital.

You will join a multidisciplinary team to plan patient care in the OR and coordinate activities to maintain efficient case progression and turnover between cases. Wisconsin RN licensure and CPR certification are required, with a BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 6 months of relevant clinical experience required.
• Wisconsin RN license must be obtained on hire.
• CPR certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Work with a multidisciplinary team to plan for patient care in the Operating Room in a timely manner.
• Communicate and coordinate Operating Room activities to facilitate efficiency in surgical case progression and turnover between cases.
