Job summary

Heart Vascular and Leg Center in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for Operating Room duties within our Premier Surgery Center.

The ideal candidate will hold a current California RN license, possess CPR and ACLS certifications, and have at least 2 years of medical-surgical experience in an acute care setting; OR experience is preferred. Flexible hours from 5 am to 5 pm and a strong emphasis on teamwork and patient safety are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must hold a current California RN license.
• CPR certification and ACLS required.
• Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical experience in an acute care facility; Critical Care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room.
• Apply the nursing process for assessment, planning, and evaluation.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, standards of care, and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to delegate responsibilities and ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
