Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our inpatient teams in Covington, KY. You will provide age- and culturally appropriate nursing care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support patients and families throughout the care continuum.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, care planning, SBAR communication, adherence to hospital policy, and ongoing education of patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN must hold a current license to practice nursing.
• BSN within 5 years of hire (MSN/DNP optional but supersede BSN).
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months for step-down/ICU.
• Ability to provide age- and culturally appropriate care and education.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing assessment and plan of care for patients.
• Communicate SBAR with the care team and participate in handoffs.
• Implement orders and education in collaboration with the care team.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and participate in professional development.
