Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient- and family-centered care within our acute care settings. You will develop individualized care plans with patients and their designated care partners, collaborate with diverse health teams, and educate families on conditions and treatments as part of a high-quality care approach.

You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, maintain safety standards, and document care using electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Education - Required Specialized Diploma in Nursing.
• Education - BSN preferred within 3 years of hire.
• Experience - 1 year as RN in acute care preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications - BLS required; RN license PA/NJ.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and cultural awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient- and family-centered nursing care.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care with patient and care partner(s).
• Collaborate with inter-professional teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and recovery steps.
• Adhere to safety protocols and document care in health records.
