Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking registered nurses with advanced care experience for our operating rooms across the hospital system. A variety of schedules and locations are available to match interests and specialties.

Locations include Wiregrass Ranch Hospital (Wesley Chapel, FL), Bayfront Hospital (St. Pete, FL), and Lakeland Highlands Hospital (Lakeland, FL). Orlando Health offers benefits from day one, student loan repayment, and tuition assistance to support staff and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Florida RN licensure or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification or be willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC may be required for certain areas.
• Minimum 1 year Operating Room experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates advanced knowledge, skills, and judgement for patients needing complex assessments and high‑level nursing care.
• Uses data to anticipate changes in patient conditions and respond quickly.
• Identifies information and takes decisive, evidence‑based action.
• Monitors and interprets data from intracranial pressures, central venous pressures, pulmonary artery pressures, and cardiac monitors/equipment.
• Responds to life‑saving situations following nursing standards and protocols.
• Coordinates care and delegates tasks to the team for a group of patients.

Education
