Job summary

Orlando Health is hiring registered nurses with advanced care experience for our operating rooms across the hospital system with a variety of schedules and locations to choose from depending on your interests and specialties.

Responsibilities include caring for patients with complex needs, using data to track changing conditions, and coordinating care with the team. A Florida RN license and BLS are required, with ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC possible for specific areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current RN license in Florida or NLC.
• Meets BLS/Healthcare Provider certification requirements.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC may be required for certain OR areas.
• Minimum 1 year operating room experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with complex assessments and high-level nursing vigilance.
• Use data to anticipate and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Identify and prioritize information for decisive, evidence-based action.
• Monitor and adjust specialized OR equipment and monitor data from devices.
• Respond to life-saving situations per nursing standards and protocol.
• Coordinate care and delegate tasks within the care team.
