Job summary

Eskenazi Health is seeking an Operating Room RN to deliver clinical care in a high-acuity perioperative setting in Indianapolis. You will coordinate with patients and families and work with a wide range of surgical specialties to ensure exceptional outcomes.

The role supports a Level I trauma center with varied shifts, on-call requirements, and a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care. A strong nursing background in the OR and BLS certification are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Indiana license as a Registered Nurse (RN) issued by a nationally accredited program.
• Current BLS certification; other unit-specific certifications may be required to practice in certain units.
• Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience as an RN in the Operating Room preferred.
• Response time for call shifts is 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing care in the Operating Room.
• Coordinate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate care.
• Participate in on-call, night and weekend shift requirements as applicable.
