Job summary

MedStar Montgomery Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse (RN) with OR experience to join our operating room team. You will provide skilled, compassionate care for a range of procedures and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff to ensure patient safety.

The position requires ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL from an accredited nursing program, active MD RN license (or compact state) and BLS certification. Evening/night call shifts are possible, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Operating Room experience required.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex.
• You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
