Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare seeks a Permanent Operating Room RN to join our Manhattan, KS surgical team. Enjoy day shifts with no on-call, weekends, or holidays, and work across multiple surgical specialties.

The role emphasizes orthopedic cases, collaboration with surgeons and staff, and precise documentation in Meditech Expanse. Active KS or compact RN license, BLS/ACLS, and strong teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kansas or compact equivalent.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Hands-on orthopedic surgery experience, including total joint replacements and sports medicine.
• Flexibility to circulate across General, ENT, GYN, Spine, Urology, and Cataracts.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intraoperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties.
• Assist with OR setup, sterile field prep, and terminal cleaning of OR suites.
• Collaborate with surgeons, scrub techs, and anesthesia for patient safety and efficient turnovers.
• Adapt to varying case loads including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, Spine, Urology, Cataract, and General Surgery.
• Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation in Meditech Expanse.
