Job summary

UHS Binghamton General Hospital is seeking a skilled Operating Room RN to support the Surgical Services team. The role focuses on safe perioperative care, patient advocacy, and adherence to nursing standards in a patient-centered environment.

We offer day rotation schedules for both full-time and part-time positions with a sign-on bonus up to $15,000. Compensation ranges from $40.70 to $61.05 per hour, and NY RN licensure is required with preferred BSN; CCRN or related certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Registered Nurse License.
• Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting.
• CCRNs or related certifications (ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate perioperative nursing care in the operating room.
• Advocate for patients and protect patient health throughout the perioperative period.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure efficient, high-quality care.
• Maintain nursing standards and contribute to a patient-centered perioperative environment.
