Job summary

Tidelands Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room to deliver high‑quality perioperative care. You will prepare patients for surgery, maintain sterile conditions, assist surgeons, and monitor patient well‑being throughout the care continuum.

The position requires an ADN with SC nursing licensure, BLS certification, and a commitment to patient safety and teamwork. BSN or MSN is preferred; prior acute or critical care experience is valued. Regular full‑time, on‑site role.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN or MSN preferred.
• Acute/critical care experience preferred.
• Licensure in SC and active nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for surgery and addresses concerns.
• Ensures sterile operating room and secures supplies.
• Hands over medical supplies to attending surgeons during operations.
• Monitors patients' physical and emotional well‑being throughout care.
• Informs attending surgeon of issues and anomalies.
