Job summary

Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room CV Service Line. This full-time role runs 7a-5:30p with 4-10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, and requires on-call availability within 30 minutes of the hospital.

Candidates should have an accredited nursing program, Illinois RN license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of OR experience, preferably CV OR. Scrub or circulate skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which practicing.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Minimum 1 year of operating room nursing experience; CV preferred.
• Ability to scrub and circulate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process in the OR.
• Lead efforts to maintain a safe patient environment and optimal patient experience across the continuum.
