Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte is seeking a Registered Nurse for the University City Operating Room. The role supports a collaborative OR team delivering patient-centered care across orthopedics, robotics, general surgery, urology and gynecology.

M-F, 40 hours per week, with a sign-on bonus eligibility for qualifying candidates. Completion of an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in North Carolina are required, along with BLS.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
• At least one year of operating room experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Deliver care in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
• Apply evidence-based practice, clinical decision making and clear communication with the team.
