On-site position with competitive compensation. Ideal candidates have ADN and Kentucky RN license, at least 1 year of OR experience, BCLS/ACLS, strong attention to detail, and stamina for long shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in nursing, preferably in an operating room setting.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; ADN required.
• Active Kentucky nursing license; BCLS and ACLS upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Act as intermediary between operating room staff and other hospital staff.
• Ensure sterile and safe operating room environment.
• Assist scrub nurses and maintain sterile field during surgery.
• Prepare patient for procedure and set up operating room before surgery.
• Assess patient condition before, during, and after surgery; assist care planning.
