Job summary

Valley Surgery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator to join a multi-specialty ASC focused on Ophthalmology and GI, now expanding in 6 operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms. The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a competitive hourly pay range based on experience.

Minimum qualifications include an associate degree in nursing, IL RN license, BLS/PALS/ACLS, and two years of OR circulating experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing from accredited program.
• Current IL Registered Nurse license.
• BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications.
• Two years of operating room circulating experience in hospital or ambulatory surgery center.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through nursing process in preop, intraop, and postop phases.
• Communicate pertinent information to staff for continuity of care.
• Document in patient records accurately and sign with professional title.
• Assess patient understanding and establish mutually agreed goals.
• Adapt care plans based on patient/family data and emergency needs.
