Job summary

SCA Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to support perioperative care. Join a mission-driven team that emphasizes patient safety, quality and collaboration.

The role requires nursing degree, active licensure, BLS, ACLS, and ideally PALS; one year OR experience preferred. You will develop perioperative plans and work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) if pediatric care is within scope within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
