The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Waxahachie delivers high-quality perioperative care across multiple specialties. The RN supports anesthesia during induction, assists with patient positioning, and ensures accurate counts and patient safety throughout the surgical journey.

This full-time role requires a minimum of 1 year OR circulating experience and an active RN license, with four 10-hour shifts weekly and 3–5 on-call shifts in a 6-week schedule.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a circulating Operating Room RN.
• Experience across multiple specialties including Robotics, General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Neuro, and Orthopedics preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide perioperative patient care across a variety of surgical specialties.
• Assist anesthesia providers during induction and patient positioning.
• Coordinate and verify surgical counts with scrub team and ensure patient safety through time-outs and debriefs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation throughout the surgical experience.
