Job summary

NCH’s Operating Room in Naples, FL is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to independently plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in diverse patient care situations. You will provide direct patient care, assume teaching and leadership responsibilities, and participate in unit committees and quality improvement activities.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida RN license, has at least 1 year of OR experience, and maintains BLS and ALS certifications.

Qualifications

• RN license in Florida is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent OR experience is required.
• BLS and ALS certifications from ARC or AHA are required.
• Intermediate computer knowledge with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in the OR.
• Provide direct nursing care to patients and assist the surgeon and team.
• Precept new employees and students; participate in quality improvement activities.
• Maintain knowledge of current policies and Kronos system.
