Job summary

Orlando Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of RN experience to join the Multisystem Progressive Care Unit in Orlando, FL. You will provide inpatient acute care, monitor patient status, administer medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient and family education.

The role requires a Florida RN license, BLS, and unit-specific competencies; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC may be required for certain areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for the unit/department.
• Maintains current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.
• 1 year experience required unless AVP level or above approves OR Hospital Care at Home – Two years acute care nursing experience.

Position Summary

We are excited to welcome experienced Registered Nurses with at least one year of RN experience to join our high‑performing Multisystem Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Orlando Regional Medical Center, part of Orlando Health’s nationally recognized Level I Trauma program. About the Unit

Our 31‑bed Multisystem PCU cares for a diverse patient population, including cardiac, respiratory, neuro, renal, GI, trauma, and post‑operative patients. Nurses in this unit gain valuable experience managing a wide range of acute conditions while collaborating with a highly skilled interdisciplinary team.

In this role, the nurse administers patient care in an inpatient acute‑care setting where patients receive active treatment for injuries, illnesses, medical conditions, or post‑intervention needs. Responsibilities include monitoring patient status, contributing to individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, documenting care accurately, and communicating effectively with the care team. Nurses also provide education and support to patients and families while further developing clinical judgment and decision‑making skills.

Candidates must possess a minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
