Job summary

OrthoVirginia is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join its surgical team in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic setting. You will circulate cases alongside surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff to deliver safe, efficient care.

The role requires an active RN license, OR experience, and current BLS; ACLS is preferred. Ambulatory surgery center experience and orthopedic background are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Circulate surgical cases in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic surgery center.
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies for procedures.
• Verify patient identity, surgical site, and procedure per safety protocols.
• Serve as the patient's advocate before, during, and after surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, technologists, and perioperative staff.
