Elios Healthcare's outpatient surgery center in mid to lower Manhattan is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN to join a fast-paced ENT and ophthalmology–focused team.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no call, no holidays, and a predictable surgical calendar known two weeks in advance; collaboration and supportive leadership are emphasized, with a culture of teamwork and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Comfortable in a fast-paced surgical environment and focused on high-quality patient care.
• Circulation duties; Surg Techs on staff, so you will circulate.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in the OR as part of a dedicated ASC team.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses and tech staff to ensure efficient case flow.
• Provide safe, compassionate patient care before, during and after procedures.

Mid to Lower Manhattan, NYC

A growing outpatient surgery center is adding an experienced Operating Room RN to its team following a nearly 74% increase in monthly surgical volume.

The center specializes in ENT and ophthalmology outpatient procedures and offers an opportunity for an OR nurse to work in a busy, growing surgical environment while enjoying a schedule and culture that are difficult to find in traditional hospital settings.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• No call
• No holidays
• Surgical schedule is known approximately two weeks in advance
• Staggered start times, typically 6:30 AM, 7:30 AM or after 8:00 AM
• Employees leave by 5:00 PM at the latest
• Guaranteed 40 hours available for candidates who want them

Leadership understands that employees have responsibilities outside of work and is willing to work with employees who have appointments, need to pick up their children or occasionally need schedule flexibility.

Experience:

• The ideal candidate will have Operating Room experience, preferably in an outpatient or ambulatory surgery center.
• ENT and/or ophthalmology experience is preferred, but candidates with broader OR experience are encouraged to apply.
• The team is looking for someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced surgical environment, works well with others and takes pride in providing high-quality patient care.
• We have Surg Techs on staff, so you will only circulate.

• You will be joining a team with a strong leadership structure, including an Administrator, Nurse Manager, Clinical Coordinators for both the OR and PACU, and an OR Business Manager.
