Mission Hospital is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to influence patient care and support collaboration with management and hospital councils. You will help shape decisions that elevate patient outcomes and support the future of nursing.

The role requires leadership in delivering professional nursing care, applying the nursing process, and implementing prescribed interventions for surgical patients. You will work within Asheville Surgery Center with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina RN license; eNLC may apply.
• Associates of Nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 1+ year OR RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership facilitating the delivery of professional nursing care for patients.
• Uses the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching.
• Implements medically prescribed interventions.
• Collaborates with the manager and care team to optimize patient outcomes.

Job Summary and Qualifications

This position is at Asheville Surgery Center.

Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions.

What qualifications you will need:

• Required Experience:1+ years of OR RN experience
• Required Education: Associates of Nursing
• Required License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON
• Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS
