Job Summary and Qualifications

The Surgical RN is responsible for nursing care related to operative or invasive procedures, guiding non-licensed personnel, and caring for adult and pediatric patients, including geriatric patients. Standards are based on age-specific competency.

• Graduate of a professional nursing school
• Minimum one year OR experience preferred
• Current RN license in Texas or a compact license (Texas license required within 30 days of hire)
• CPR certification from AHA or ARC
