Job summary

Westlawn Surgery Center in Murfreesboro, TN is hiring an Operating Room Registered Nurse on a per diem basis. The Circulating RN will position and prep patients, circulate the case, and contribute to patient safety and care throughout orthopedic surgeries.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree, 3 years OR experience, TN RN license, BLS/ACLS, with CNOR preferred. No weekends, no call, no holidays. USPI affiliated center offers a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing.
• Three years of OR/circulating experience
• Must have orthopedic experience
• Current unrestricted TN RN license
• BLS and ACLS required
• CNOR preferred
• Critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to the operating room.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient and prep the patient for surgery.
• Circulate the case and provide nursing care during surgery.
• Support the surgical team and ensure sterile technique and patient safety.

Operating Room Registered Nurse at Westlawn Surgery Center

The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing.
