Job summary

Bucks County Surgical Suites Highpoint seeks an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to support intraoperative care in our ambulatory center. You will provide patient positioning, prepping, and circulating during surgery, ensuring safety and efficient case flow.

You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff to deliver high-quality care across all ages, following standards and policies while contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active PA RN license.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS required at hire or within 12 months.
• Ability to scrub and circulate as needed.
• Minimum one year intra-operative experience.
• Demonstrates clinical competency and leadership.
• Uses nursing judgment to make patient care decisions.

Responsibilities

• Position and prep the patient for surgery and circulate the case.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate intraoperative patient care for all ages.
• Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and staff to communicate needs.

Operating Room Registered Nurse

Bucks County Surgical Suites Highpoint

Eligible for a Sign-on Bonus up to $7,500.00

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

The OR RN provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The OR RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all age patients in operating room. Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Center. Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments as well as team members. May have additional responsibilities as designated by the Nurse Manager of the Operating Room and/or Director of Nursing, which include, but are not limited to, serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits and projects.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in PA
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS required upon hire and required within one year of hiring date.
• Ability to Scrub and Circulate as needed.
• One year experience required intra-operative setting.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities. Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
