Job summary

Barkley SurgiCenter in Fort Myers, FL is hiring a full-time Operating Room Registered Nurse Endoscopy/OR Circulator. You will provide nursing care during surgery, position and prep patients, and circulate cases in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has an active RN license in Florida, Endo/GI experience, and at least 1 year as a circulator, with BLS. Weekdays, no holidays/weekends/calls; occasional late evenings with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Must hold a current unrestricted RN license in the state.
• Must have Endo/GI experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Circulator in OR.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient, prep the patient, and circulate the case.
• Provide nursing care during surgery and maintain infection control.
• Work within an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure scrupulous infection control standards and professional competencies.

JOB SUMMARY:

• The Registered Nurse, in the operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
• The ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies, and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
