Schedule: 40 hours per week | 7:30AM - 6:00 PM | Monday - Friday

The Operating Room (OR) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Attendant role involves patient care and surgical environment support. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room to ensure all surgical areas are cleaned, organized, and equipped according to protocols, transporting patients of all ages safely, assisting with patient preparations and positioning, and running errands between interdisciplinary departments under the supervision of nurses and surgeons.

Requirements:

• Current CNA certification listed with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred, especially in an operating room environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required upon hire.
• Ability to pass a basic FIT test, including bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods, and possess full range of body motion.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
