Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• All newly hired registered nurses must have current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire.
• Licensed and a currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut; clinical specialty certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• RN practice is guided by ANA Scope and Standards of Practice; professional duties include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Nurses collaborate with patients and families, maintain therapeutic relationships, and ensure safe, high-quality care.
