Inova Loudoun Ambulatory Surgery Center is currently hiring an experienced Operating Room Nurse Manager (RN) responsible for supervising the OR and GI/Endo staff, and delivering quality patient care in compliance with regulations and standards.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, day shift, no nights, weekends or holidays

Responsibilities
  • Supervise all surgical care areas, ensuring daily operations meet clinical standards and policies
  • Ensure adequate staffing, provide breaks, and manage coverage for late cases and shortages
  • Lead department staff to foster teamwork and professional growth
  • Recruit, onboard, train new staff, and monitor performance and productivity
  • Assess educational needs and implement training plans
  • Maintain inventory of drugs and supplies in OR and endoscopy suite
  • Build relationships with physicians and stakeholders to ensure quality care
  • Participate in quality improvement programs
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive outpatient surgery or OR experience in acute care, with clinical and management skills
  • Experience with general OR and GI/Endo procedures, including orthopedics, cataracts, ENT, urology, plastics, and podiatry
  • BSN or MSN preferred
  • Current RN license in Virginia
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to oversee both OR and GI/Endo
  • Strong communication skills
