Job summary

Jefferson Health's Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia seeks a Nurse Manager for the Operating Room. You will lead OR nursing operations, supervise staffing, and drive performance to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

The role requires a Master's in Nursing (Nursing Administration preferred), PA RN license, BLS, and strong leadership, with extensive OR experience. Day shift, full-time position in the Philadelphia area.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing (Nursing Administration preferred).
• Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania is required.
• At least 3 years of nursing experience including hospital clinical practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 7 years of OR experience strongly preferred.
• CNOR certification preferred or within one year of hire.
• Previous leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the caliber of treatment and care of the patients.
• Directs staffing and administration of a nursing unit or floor.
• Facilitates a team culture that rewards excellence in patient care.
• Manages financial, human, and other resources for quality patient care across an assigned area.
