Job summary

Hudson Regional Hospital is seeking an OR Nurse Coordinator in Bayonne, NJ. This role supports nursing standards and leads in the operating room, aligning with ethics, standards, and performance metrics.

The position requires New Jersey RN licensure, BLS, and experience; CNOR and AORN membership are preferred. BSN is preferred with 2–5 years of related clinical experience; shifts may be 5–8 hours or 4–10 hours depending on departmental needs.

Qualifications

• New Jersey State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New Jersey State as an RN.
• BLS required.
• CNOR Certification preferred or efforts to achieve certification.
• AORN Membership preferred.
• BSN degree preferred and at least 2-5 years clinical experience in the specialty or related service; or combination of education and experience acceptable to the Director of Nursing or designee.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards of nursing practice defined by the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice and Nursing’s Social Policy Statement.
• Actualize the vision, mission, values and balanced scorecard performance measures for Hudson Regional Hospital.
• Participate in performance improvement/research activities; maintain professional practice standards and clinical expertise; demonstrate leadership skills.
• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing a surgical intervention; demonstrate leadership in management systems, clinical practice, quality assurance and staff development in accordance with Operating Room goals.
