Job summary

Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver patient care in the operating room on a designated shift. You will coordinate all aspects of the surgical plan and nursing standards of care.

The role requires an active Virginia RN license, CPR and ACLS prior to orientation. A Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree is expected, with on-call and rotating shifts and opportunities for professional growth within a mission-driven nonprofit health system.

Qualifications

• RN license in Virginia or Compact state.
• CPR certification required.
• ACLS preferred prior to orientation completion.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of patient care in the operating room for assigned patients on a specific shift.
• Coordinate all aspects of the surgical plan and nursing standards of care.
• Direct and guide activities of other personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
• Assess patient status and adapt care to age-specific needs throughout the surgical experience.
• Adhere to department policies and procedures.
