Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking aStaff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for patients from birth through the lifespan, applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.

You will coordinate patient care with all assigned staff, uphold the organization's standards, pursue ongoing professional growth, and contribute to a busy hospital team dedicated to quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN licensure in Georgia or NLC/eNLC Multistate licensure required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice and uphold organization policies.

Education

Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
